Jewish Poetry Set To Music (podcast)
Composer Dan Asia and Rabbi Steve Sager and talk about
Jewish Poetry set to music on WUNC’s “The State of Things”

Poet Yehuda Amichai is one of Israel’s most acclaimed artists. His poems explore different aspects of Jewish faith. American poet Paul Pines also examines the many components of Judaism in his work. American musical composer Dan Asia set both their works to music (performed on March 4, 2014, at Elon University). Host Frank Stasio talks with composer Dan Asia and Rabbi Steve Sager, a local expert on Yehuda Amichai.
